i believe in angels

i wandered
believed that the life s nt fair
then i was taken for a ride
i climbed the mountain n looked down
found the deep waters
saw the flowers blossom
felt the warmth of a caring hand
learnt i can say yes to you
n was taught bye is not the final word
now i believe in angels
they do come to our lives only at the right time
but wont stay for lifelong
yes, the memories last foerever and ever
i dont wanna die
i love wn its raining
and nw i believe in angels.

Skandagiri Trekking

Skandagiri Trekking

We a group of 12 started from bangalore @ about 12pm in 6 bikes to Skandagiri. We just had a vague idea about how to reach ther. We had gone to Nandi already and were told that this place is some 10km after Nandi.

And it took amost 2hrs 4 us to reach the parking place, including the tea breaks inbetween. Believe me, if you are going by bike @ 1am @ 70-80km/hr, you will love to have a tea brk.
From silkboard junction we went staright to Sarjapur, then Devanahalli where the new International Airport is situated and finally reached Skandagiri hill ya Kalavarahalli Beta. There you can hire one local guy as your guide 2 lead you to the top of the hill, if you want. The guys asked Rs.450/- and atlast agreed for 350.

Then started the trekking. We could see nothing when we started climbing the hill at about 2.30am.  The guide told us its 8km that we are gonna cover in 2 hrs. ehm!!!

Thank God, we had water bottles and snacks with us. We havnt brought liquor to Skandagiri, but had seen many guys boozing and enjoying camp fire there at the top of the hill. We disapponted....? eh? No!!!! This time we didnt, the sight itself made us go high.

Skandagiri- the place above clouds, i had seen many photos already. But when we reach there, when we see the clouds below our feet, we feel different, an awesome experience it is.

We reached the top at 5.30am and the sunrise was at 6.10
We had tea, again, from there. Actually we were getting inspired from the guides words that we can have tea and omlet fromthe top.

We went to the edge of the hill to get better view of the rising sun. Actually to count the number of sunrises i had seen in ma whole life, fingers in one of ma hands are more than sufficient. But this one was great!

We started descendin, but the thought of covering the whole distance itself was a pain. It again took some 1.5hrs to get back to the place where we parked our bikes.

And then we kicked our bikes on, carrying lots of memories and nice fotos of a place resembling heaven in our movies. Such a gr8 gang, a thrilling bike ride, a wonderful nightout, a serene place on earth we had been 2. Wow!!!
